K-12 teachers attending the UCI Summer Science Institute at the University California at Irvine have developed Web Quests that engage students in on-line instruction in various science topics.

• Some of these web quests are traditional in approach, while others are more innovative and interactive in scope.
• Each lesson follows a general format with one or more links to WWW resources that are incorporated into these lessons.
• We will continue to support their efforts by publishing these lesson plans for access by all educators worldwide and by updating the links as needed.
• Regretfully some of the graphics for these webquests were lost in December 1999.  The links are still good and we are in the process of recovering  the lost gif and jpeg files.
