Periodic Table

Periodic Table of Elements -Los Alamos Laboratory
How many periodic tables do you need? This one is good.

Chem 4 Kids

Chemical elements.com -an interactive periodic table of elements.

ChemCom Teachers Resource Center
Welcome to the Teachers Resources for ChemCom®. This site acts as a gathering place forteachers of ChemCom® to exchange information and files with each other. Exploring ChemCom on the Internet

The Chemical Score Card
Find out what chemicals are being released into your neighborhood environment by manufacturing plants, which of these chemicals are potentially the most harmful, and what companies are responsible.

CHEMystery: An Inertactive Guide Chemistry --The Virtual Textbook
We have created CHEMystery, a virtual chemistry textbook to provide an interactive guide for high school chemistry students.

The Learning Matters of Chemistry: -Maintained by Yue-Ling Wong, Ph. D.
Contains images animations, interactive exercises and a shockwave game that assists memorization of the periodic table. Includes many chemistry links to other sites.

Temperature Conversion Calculator
From UC Berkeley's ChemResources Page. Check it out there are other goodies there.

The Chemistry Page
All the links you will need for a good day of chemistry surfing on the "Web"

Eric's Treasure Troves of  Chemistry
Everything in the Treasure Troves on my web pages was compiled by a single person: me.I recently completed a Ph.D. in planetary science at Caltech, but my undergraduate degreeis in physics and astronomy. I am also a closet recreational math devotee. I enjoy pickingup odd bits of information (at least if they're related to math or science), but can neverremember them unless I write them down, hence the Treasure Troves. Furthermore, it hasbeen my experience that it is very difficult to find clear yet accessible explanations oftechnical subjects in the sciences unless one already has some familiarity with the subject.I hope these encyclopedias will provide jumping-off points for people who are interestedin the subjects listed here, but are not necessarily experts.

States of Matter

Simple Chemical Reactions

Chemical Kinetics Simulation (Java Applet) - C. Grayce, UC Irvine
Watch the reactions take place. Interactive: change the concentrations. Plot of molecule types versus time.

pH Meter (requires Shockwave plugim) - J. Kryk, Sirius Corp
Interact with the pH meter and see how the hydrogen ion concentration varies.

Simple Chemical Reaction Movie
- UC Berkeley
