Students will need lecture background, text, or internet links on this site for detailed anatomy on the digestive system.

Digestive system quizzes and activities will test students knowledge of the digestive system.
Data table of total grams of protein, fats, carbohydrates and calories for each day or week of foods the students ate.
Determine BMI, BMR and calories needed based on daily activities students are involved in.

Enrichment:
(Examples)

Presentations -PowerPoint or Hyperstudio on digestive disorders or diseases.
Maintain a weekly log of calories needed and diet for each student.
Develop a plan to modify their diet to improve nutrition.
