K-12 teachers attending the UCI Summer Science Institute at the University California at Irvine  have developed WebQuests that engage students in on-line instruction in various science topics.

• Some of these web quests are traditional in approach, while others are more innovative and interactive in scope.
• Each lesson follows a general format with one or more links to WWW resources that are incorporated into these lessons.
• Many of these WebQuests require the following plug-ins; - Shockwave, Flash, by Macromedia | Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Apple QuickTime Player.
• We will continue to support their efforts by publishing these lesson plans for access by all educators worldwide and by updating the links as needed.
