  you use word processor.word processor.

WYSIWYG stands for What You See Is What You Get
  • Pick a topic for your Web Quest.
  • Search for web resources for your web pages. Bookmark websites and save graphics.
  • Learn how Greg wants you to save HTML and graphic files to save time and promote efficiency. (See Web Page Creation Guidelines in the section below.)

Guidelines that will make Greg's life easier:
Greg will have to upload all the files to the Internet.  If you follow these guidelines, many problems can be avoided and we will have more fun!

  • When in doubt, always ask for help!
  • When giving a name to your Web Quest and Lesson Plan, keep it short and

  • simple, and begin with a Capital letter and always end with .html
    For Example:
A Web Quest about Simple Machines: Machines.html
  • After saving graphic to your Save Here Folder on the Desktop, you may Rename it as something that is useful for you.

  • For Example:
elep0321.jpg  could be renamed as elephant.jpg
    or
volc001.gif could be renamed as volcano.gif
  • Be sure that all the files that belong to your Web Quest are saved in the Web Quest folder on your floppy disk.
  • Be sure to save your work frequently.  Save your work from your Save Here Folder on the Desktop to your Save Here Folder  on your floppy disk at the

  • end of every morning and afternoon session.

Some cool things we will do this week:
  • Save and edit simple previously published web pages including text, HTML

  • layout and graphics.
  • Add sounds to your web page. Record your own voice as a .wav file, or play a musical .mid file right from your own web page.
Good Luck Webmasters!
