Greg Sheppard

Greg Sheppard, M.S. With over 20 years of experience in secondary and adult education, as science department chairperson and university adjunct faculty, Greg created and directed the Discovery Lab, “A Fusion of Art and Technology;” he facilitated multimedia-assisted learning and served as Digital High School coordinator. In partnership with Dr. Frank Potter, Greg instructed teachers and developed and published WebQuests at the University of California, Irvine Summer Science Institute. 

With a B.A. from University of Toronto and B.Ed. from Lakehead University, he earned his master’s degree in educational administration from Pepperdine University.

Dr. Melanie Wade

Melanie Wade, Ed.D. is an educator with over 25 years of experience in public education and private industry. As an instructor and facilitator for secondary schools, adult continuing education, and university programs, she has a broad range of expertise in curriculum and instruction enhanced by an extensive background in educational technology. With sales and support experience in private industry, Melanie has collaborated with educational leaders to provide software solutions in elementary and secondary education settings in addition to libraries and adult continuing education. She earned a B.A. from York University, B.Ed. from Lakehead University, M.S. from National University, and Ed.D. in educational administration from the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Frank Potter

Franklin Potter, Ph.D. is Professor of Physics Emeritus at the University of California at Irvine and conducts research in elementary particle physics and cosmology. He received his B.S. degree from Cal Tech and Ph.D. in physics from Texas Tech University.
